Event Description
Join us for a Mental Health Lunch and Learn. The Apprenticeship and Craft Training Trust is teaming up with the Employment and Labor Affairs Committee to launch a Mental Health Training series.

Session 1 - FROM STIGMA TO SUPPORT: IDENTIFYING THE IMPACT OF MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES IN THE WORKPLACE
Mental health problems at work can lower productivity and morale, and it’s often hard to pinpoint what influences mental wellness. Employees might avoid seeking help due to stigma or lack of knowledge about available resources. Gain insight into the experiences of individuals living with mental health conditions and learn strategies for creating a supportive and stigma-free workplace environment.

Meet the Speaker:
Erin Callinan, MSW, is the founder of Beneath The Brave, where she helps organizations strengthen culture and performance by prioritizing mental health. With nearly 20 years of executive leadership in advocacy, domestic violence, and suicide prevention, Erin brings both lived experience and practical strategies to her work - helping reduce stigma, boost employee engagement, and improve retention and overall well-being. She is the author of Beautifully Bipolar: Ditching the Shame with Hope, Humor, and Hustle and a nationally certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
